7-7:30 DEALING WITH DEPRESSION: PENNSYLVANIA PSYCHIATRIC INSTITUTE

For many, the changing of the seasons means cozy dark evenings of winter and enjoying holiday light displays. But perhaps for you, the shortening of the day, the gray days of winter or even the holiday season may make you feel down, sad or withdrawn.
When is it just the "blahs," and when is it something more serious that you may need help? Dr. Erika Saunders is an associate professor of psychiatry at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and on staff at PPI. She will talk about depression, SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), and when it is time to seek professional help. And what kind of help is out there.
The bottom line is that if you suffer from depression, you are not alone and there is help....and it is available locally from some of the best in the business.
To reach Dr. Saunders you can reach her in Hershey at 782-2160.

7:30-8 SHOULDER PAIN-SHOULDER THERAPY WITH CPRS PHYSICAL THERAPY

If you have shoulder pain or shoulder problems, you are not alone. With all that we do the shoulder takes a beating. But there is help to deal with the pain and get you back to enjoying your life and leisure pain free.
We travelled over to the East Shore location of CPRS Therapy to meet with therapist Mark Brown to learn about the shoulder and how to treat shoulder pain. While we were there, we also sat down with Norm Diefenderfer who is recovering from shoulder surgery and is receiving therapy at CPRS.
