Job Title: Promotions Director
Job Summary:
Some Specific responsibilities and functions include: • supervises station contests and on-air implementation • day to day management within the promotions department including policies, procedures, staffing • represent stations at community events • act as community liaison with community corporate entities • coordinate activities of other departments involved in production of promotions and remotes, attend remotes as needed • work with vendors in ordering promotional material • create and develop promotional campaigns to generate revenue and ratings opportunities for station • oversees and manages station promotion budget • develops and maintains relationships with the press and other media • oversee on-air contesting, on-site client promotions, station events and website promotion • create client proposals and promotional concepts congruent with station image and strategies • write promotional spots and traffic orders • manage/write client based promotional recaps • update website content regularly • liaison daily between sales and programming departments • provide technical assistance for on-site remotes/appearances • attend and conduct weekly sales/promotions and programming meetings • collaborate with retail outlets, promoters, and community organizations • meet day to day deadlines
Position Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years experience in promotions, marketing, radio or related industry. -On-air experience a plus -Proven understanding of digital marketing-promotion and utilization of social networking -Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills. -Strong attention to detail -Candidates must also have valid driver’s license. -Must also be willing to work flexible hours and weekends. Some heavy lifting is also required for this position.
Job Summary: Clear Channel Radio/Harrisburg has an opening for a Sales Assistant to assist the Account Executives, Sales Managers, Director of Sales, and Market Manager with clerical and sales support. • You must have a strong command of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint • You possess strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills • You have strong computer skills with the ability to learn new and existing customized programs for Radio • You are customer-service oriented and have a strong attention to detail • You are able to exemplify a strong work ethic and exercise good time management skills along with the ability to multi-task • You enjoy taking on tasks for the team and possess a strong desire for team success • You are able to assist other departments as needed, including but not limited to, Promotions, Programming, Business, Continuity, Traffic, and Reception.
Skills and Experience: Individual must demonstrate the ability to work well with others in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Must be able to work under time constraints and with little to no supervision. Past administrative/sales experience a plus!

Job Summary:
Represents Clear Channel Radio as an Account Executive. Prospect, qualify, and develop new business, grow current agency and direct business. Contribute to creative marketing plans for the stations and clients. Develop and execute promotions and marketing programs for clients. Sell radio commercial time.
Skills and Experience: Sales experience a plus! Excellent written and verbal skills. Must have experience using common office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Thrives at goal setting and enjoys pushing themselves to the next level of success. Creative thinker that can translate ideas into marketing strategies to help clients business grow. Above average organizational skills. Demonstrates knowledge of sales skills and experience of selling an intangible product. Basic understanding of the Internet as a business tool.
Relationships: Will report to the General Sales Manager but be accountable to departments including, but not limited to: programming, promotions, traffic/continuity, and the business department.
Conditions: 100% commissioned income provided with a base draw. Will attend some sales related promotions, which could include occasional weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
Needed Attributes: Must be a self-motivated individual. Must be able to operate as part of an established sales team. Should be creative and energetic. Must have a valid driver’s license and use of an automobile.
